The Worst Party

I'll try to describe the worst party I have ever been to. I walk into this huge house, thinking I had written the address incorrectly. This guy who looked like Don Johnson's methed cousin said hello, loudly. I found that I was dressed approriately for the rest of the planet, but not for this place. The place looked like that Animotion video for the song Obsession. Big clothes, big hair, cocaine everywhere; and somebody really liked the Big 80s greatest hits. Cyndi Lauper was playing. The thing is, and apparently I was the only person aware, it was 2006.

    Now if by looking like the Cleopatra thing from the video, I'd be in on that party. Ancient history theme parties would be fun...

    @Tara and @Lance Great minds think alike :) I never read the other entries before I post mine. That way, even if I do tackle the same subject as someone else, I know it was still all me.

    This party sounds both scary and fun. Great work writing it!

    Nice job! Daughters were teens in the 80's. I knew enough to start the video WITHOUT sound - that way I do not now have an earworm. (hate when that happens).

    I love how our collective minds work alike on these prompts. :)
